Proposed Classroom Layouts

Single Computer Lab w/ Girl’s Resource Center

This configuration is ideal for smaller villages where one community center is being shared by multiple schools and, in the evenings, members of the community.
We have found that wherever we have done our research, the problem of girls completing their education is of critical importance. Adding a girl’s resource center would be a nominal extra amount, especially when compared to the substantial human equity benefits.

Two Computer Labs w/ Girl’s Resource Center

This configuration would be better suited when the total student population being served by the lab ranges between 700 to 1,200 students.

Three Computer Labs w/ Girl’s Resource Center

This configuration is either for large schools or communities that share a building supporting between 1,200 and 1,800 students.

If modular blocks are used to construct these buildings, a smaller configuration can be easily converted to a larger configuration by re-using any blocks removed from the old building when a wall is being removed (since there is no concrete used, the blocks are re-usable).
